PLAY #96: I AM NOT A SINK (MARCH 6)

A tree in the centre of the stage.

The tree holds a cardboard sign: ‘I am not a Sink.’

EXECUTIVE enters, throws a bag full of dirty black coal type things on top of the tree. He is talking on his phone.

EXECUTIVE

Yeah. Great, let’s do that: fifty credits, super.

Another executive enters, throws more coal on top of the tree.

EXECUTIVE

Yeah, we can keep extracting in the Philippines. Yeah, we offset all that – there’s some great carbon sinks in Papau new Guinea.

The executive brings in a hose, holds it up like a penis, squirts oil all over the tree.

More rubbish thrown at the tree.
